Sad News but Good News

Hello Friends....

     It has been a time of gathering my thoughts and wondering what I would be writing about.

Rick and I recieved a precious puppy into our lives on April 4, 2004.  We decided to name her

Princess because that is what we felt she would become since we were EMPTY NESTERS.

     3 months ago we noticed a lump in her throat and soon found out that it was lymphoma.

We watched her close, almost denying the diagnosis.  But to a sudden turn for the worse we,

felt it was time to.....

let her go......  I have been sooooo sad.  I will in the future get a pic of her for all to see.

     I've started a new quilting project which it will take me a while to GET THEM DONE!!

It's called Calendar Quilt.  It is made of 12 blocks of the calendar year.  And if I make one for each

one of my grandchildren that means 7 of them.  We recieved news of a new one on the way come

this May.  GOOD NEWS!!!!
    

Hello Friends...

Hello Friends...

     The new school year has started!!!  Another year with the privelege of taking 2 of my grandchildren to

their class, meeting their teacher and enjoying the excitement.  I would take all of the grandkids but Nana's Van

would not hold them all.  "Crazyness" is what that would be!!!  

     I'm still learning about this blog and quite enjoying it.  It is still very hard to schuffle my time around

being homemaker and boutique owner.  I'm getting the quilting bug again and I'm trying to decide on one I

would like to get started on.  I have a strong feeling I really need to finish the Calendar Quilt I worked on back last

season. We as creative crafters always have toooo many ongoing projects.  Thank goodness we all have a

new beginning each and every day.

Getting it Done

Hello My Friends...

We started out this morning thankful for the beautiful day (even tho temps are 111 degrees).

VERY THANKFUL for AIR CONDITIONING!!!   Today is a day for getting some "To Do" things

done and taken off of my list. So far I'm good. Still learning about blogging and enjoying it.

Just spending some time in the quiet part of the day that is for me. Thinking of this new adventure of
blogging. It has got me alittle overwhelmed to say the least. I know I can do this cause I'm excited!!!
Figuring this out on my own is fun!!! You see I have a husband that has always done things for me
in which I'm VERY BLESSED! Thank You GOD for giving him to me!!! Sooo you see it's a new time in my life to go exploring... Bless Be My New Adventure!!
